how bangs salon and spa came about 

Bangs Salon & Spa opened its doors in 2008 when two young stylists—driven by passion, creativity, and a shared vision—launched a booth-rental salon during one of the most uncertain economic times. At just 23 and 26 years old, we stepped boldly into entrepreneurship with a mission to create a space where independent beauty professionals could thrive.

For twelve years, Bangs operated in a leased building while our team and community steadily grew. In 2019, we took our next major step and purchased our current 9,000 sq ft building on the busiest road in Centerville, Ohio. What we didn’t know was that only six months later, a global pandemic would shut the world down—just one week before what was to be our greatly anticipated grand opening.

Despite the challenges, we did what we’ve always done: we pivoted, worked tirelessly, and remained committed to supporting our stylists and their clients. We prepared our new space with intention, ensuring it was not only beautiful and functional, but also a place where returning guests would feel safe, welcomed, and cared for.

Today, more than five years later, Bangs Salon & Spa has grown into a thriving community of independent beauty professionals—including hair stylists, estheticians, nail artists, extension specialists, and a massage therapist. Our salon is now one of the largest booth-rental salons in the region, built on a foundation of autonomy, integrity, and opportunity.
